Cryosurgery in the surgery

Infections with human papillomaviruses (HPV) are among the most common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Low-risk HPV types lead to the formation of papillomatous nodules, condylomata acuminata, also known as genital warts, in the infected area (usually anogenital). These are usually asymptomatic, but may cause a burning sensation or itching. Due to their high infection potential, condylomas should be treated with local medication, surgical procedures or cryotherapy. Local icing with liquid nitrogen is completely painless and also perfectly suitable for pregnant women.
