Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. Since the chance of recovery is much higher in the early stages and for small tumors, breast screening is particularly important.

In addition to mammography , breast palpation, both by the patient and by the gynecologist, is an important early detection measure and should be learned and carried out at a young age.

I carry out a detailed breast examination at every gynecological check-up. Self-examination should ideally be carried out once a month in the first half of the cycle.
